Jennifer Lopez’s latest project, ‘This Is Me… Now: A Love Story,’ features a star-studded cast of cameos from her celebrity friends, former co-stars, and musicians.

Cameo Roles

Many of the A-listers in the film serve as members of a “zodiac love council,” an astrology-inspired group that offers guidance to Lopez’s character as she navigates her love life.

  • Keke Palmer – Scorpio
  • Post Malone – Leo
  • Trevor Noah – Libra
  • Jane Fonda – Sagittarius
  • Kim Petras – Virgo
  • Sofía Vergara – Cancer
  • Neil DeGrasse Tyson – Taurus
  • Sadhguru – Pisces
  • Jay Shetty – Aries
  • Jennifer Lewis – Gemini

In addition, Lopez’s long-time friend and rapper Fat Joe appears as her therapist.

Dave Meyers’ Commentary on Directing

Director Dave Meyers recently discussed the challenges of working with such a large cast of famous actors.

“It was erratic getting there because we shot them one at a time over three months, and the script changed 50 times. There’s a lot of fun that we have with [them], but they actually serve the story — the character of Jen is going through something, and they’re sort of the voice of checking in on how people are feeling about these steps of her journey.”

Meyers also praised Lopez’s work ethic and her ability to connect with audiences.

“The film sort of captures what I was surprised by, which is that she’s vulnerable. She’s a real human being. She might be in the castle on the hill with Prince Charming, but that was hard-earned, and it wasn’t just happenstance or luck. She’s a wonderful, three-dimensional graceful Gatsby of our era. There’s not that many people that I’ve ever encountered that can carry all of that. She really is everything you think she is. “

The third part of the ‘This Is Me… Now’ project will be a behind-the-scenes documentary titled ‘The Greatest Love Story Never Told,’ set to release on February 27, 2024.
