Indian actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu has temporarily suspended her acting commitments to prioritize her health and well-being. Currently residing at the Isha Yoga Center in Coimbatore, Prabhu has been actively sharing her experiences and insights from her stay.

Recently, Prabhu shared a glimpse of her meditative practice, expressing gratitude for the transformative power of stillness. She remarked that attaining a meditative state has become a source of empowerment, serenity, interconnectedness, and clarity.

Prior Health Concerns and Sabbatical

Prabhu’s sabbatical follows her diagnosis of Myositis in 2022. After initially resuming shooting for “Kushi” and “Citadel,” Prabhu reportedly returned advance payments for her work to take a six-month break.

Announcing her decision to her fans, Prabhu acknowledged the potential benefits of a respite from work. She expressed appreciation for her colleagues on “Citadel India” and emphasized her determination to excel in future roles.

Upcoming Projects and Fan Expectations

Despite her hiatus, Prabhu’s fans can anticipate the release of her upcoming film “Kushi,” starring Vijay Deverakonda, on September 1st. Additionally, Prabhu’s collaboration with Varun Dhawan in the web series “Citadel” is slated for release on Amazon Prime Video in 2024, subject to official confirmation.
