The SF Fitness Center on Northwest Campus has introduced daily yoga classes as part of the Mind Body Life initiative. These cost-free classes are accessible to all SF students, faculty, and staff. The classes are held in Building V, Room 14.

Morning Classes

For early risers, classes are scheduled Monday through Friday from 6:45 to 7:45 a.m.

Evening Classes

To unwind after a long day of work or classes, evening classes are offered Monday through Thursday from 5:15 to 6:15 p. m.

The Fitness Center provides yoga mats and any necessary equipment for participants. Attendees only need to bring their SFID to the Fitness Center Front Desk.

“We are thrilled to offer yoga as part of our mental health and wellness program, supported by a grant from the CDC and Florida Department of Health,” said Dr. Naima Brown, Vice President of Student Affairs.

Classes at Other Campuses

Dr. Brown announced that yoga classes will also be soon introduced at SF’s other campuses.
