Willow Gardens Yoga Opens in Lockhart

Dr. Raelynn Haynes, a seasoned yoga instructor, has established Willow Gardens Yoga in Lockhart. The studio, located at 1101 S. Main St. #103 (adjacent to Summer Moon Coffee), offers classes seven days a week, led by a team of experienced instructors.
Willow Gardens Yoga has already established a successful presence in Buda, and Haynes is optimistic about the studio’s potential in Lockhart. Haynes, who holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Biology and Zoology, is not only a yoga instructor but also a biology professor, a holistic health coach, and a Pilates teacher.
Haynes, a former All-Star cheerleader and cheerleading coach at Sam Houston State University, found her calling in Ashtanga yoga. According to the Willow Gardens Yoga website, she was drawn to the mindfulness and meditative aspects of the practice.
In addition to her professional pursuits, Haynes is a devoted mother and pet enthusiast. She promotes the benefits of yoga and meditation for children and has experience working with both teenagers and memory care patients, utilizing yoga as a therapeutic tool.
Haynes’s expertise extends to various yoga disciplines, including Ashtanga, Hot Yoga, and Vinyasa Flow. She is also a certified Pilates instructor. Her extensive academic background includes a Master’s degree and a Doctorate in Biology and Zoology, and she has served as an adjunct faculty member at Texas State University in San Marcos for over a decade.
A native of Eastern Kentucky, Haynes currently resides in Buda. For more information about Willow Gardens Yoga, please contact Raelynn Haynes at 512-523-8162 or via email at [email protected].
