Yoga Box to Expand in Denver: New Location Coming to Capitol Hill

Yoga Box, a growing national yoga studio franchise, is preparing to open a second location in Denver’s Capitol Hill neighborhood. The company already operates eleven studios across the country, including in California and Georgia.

Founder’s Vision and Expansion Plans

Yoga Box was co-founded in 2019 by Amanda Burns, a Denver native who moved to California after graduating college. There, she met Billy Canu, founder of Canu Group and co-founder of Yoga Box. Together, they shared a vision of establishing yoga studios that prioritize accessibility and variety.
According to Burns, Yoga Box offers a diverse range of yoga styles, including Sculpt (incorporating weights and cardio), Power Flow Vinyasa (with dynamic and varied sequences), and Recovery Restorative (targeting connective tissue and flexibility).

State-of-the-Art Facilities and Location

The new Yoga Box studio in Capitol Hill will feature cutting-edge sound and light systems to enhance the workout experience. Burns emphasizes the studio’s emphasis on energetic fitness while maintaining the core principles and teachings of yoga.
The studio is set to open at 124 E. 9th Ave. in January or February of 2022. Burns expressed her excitement about the location, stating that it aligns well with the company’s demographic and offers a vibrant community atmosphere.
Yoga Box’s current Colorado location is situated in the Highlands neighborhood at 2538 W 32nd Ave. The company’s expansion plans aim to further its mission of making yoga accessible and inclusive for diverse communities.
