International Yoga Day Celebrated with Zeal and Fervor

On International Yoga Day, the esteemed institution commemorated the occasion with exceptional enthusiasm and dedication, partnering with the renowned Industries Association of Chandigarh.

The institution has long embraced the transformative practices of meditation, mantra chanting, and yoga, aligning with the principles of Sri Aurobindo’s integral yoga philosophy.

In recognition of the annual theme, “Yoga for Humanity,” a tailored yoga session was conducted on the school grounds, welcoming students, parents, and faculty.

The session delved into the myriad benefits of yoga, imparting practical knowledge on managing physical and mental stress.

The event commenced with an invocation and the chanting of “Om,” followed by a series of yoga postures, including pranayams, surya namaskar, tadasana, ardh chakrasana, shashank asana, bhujang asana, and pawanmuktasana, expertly guided by the school’s yoga instructor, Kamal.

Chairman Arvind Mehan and Principal Garima S Bhardwaj, who actively participated in the session, addressed the attendees, emphasizing the significance of holistic health and well-being and how yoga fosters mental clarity, physical fitness, and spiritual harmony.
